The ideal candidate should possess:
- In-depth knowledge of working with ESX and vCenter Servers [formally Virtual Center]
- Skills to architect and develop customer solutions based on current hands-on knowledge of the VMware product line, storage, networking, management, and associated customer business processes
- Understanding of computer server architectures, including peripheral interfaces (SCSI, RAID, Ethernet) and multi-processor designs (SMP)
- Knowledge of VMware Datacenter and Management Products like vSphere, vCenter Converter, Lab Manager, Chargeback, Capacity IQ, etc
- Skills to provide architectural guidance and oversight into integration of VMware products with third party products within the customer’s IT environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work in a 24x7 work environment
