The ideal candidate should possess:
- 6+ years of UNIX experience with 4+ years of demonstrated experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining Linux environment
- Experience in Installation/Upgrade and Configuration of Servers – Network Configuration, Firmware Install, OS Install, Filesystem Configuration
- Experience as a user admin on UNIX servers
- Jumpstart Environment Management experience – Develop standards & policies, set images, develop/maintain scripts
- Ability to patch implement and maintain, license, boot prom manage and performance management
- Experience in Service Management – NIS/NIS+/DNS/NFS/Samba/Send Mail, Capacity Planning
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work in a 24x7 work environment
