Description of Duties
 

  1. Responsible for full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening and hiring.
  2. Partners with respective business units.
  3. Serves as a consultant to management on recruiting related issues.
  4. Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business position, its mid-range plans, culture, and competition
  5. Partners with business units to identify staffing needs and recruit talented contributors.
  6. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention.
  7. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning
  8. Screens resumes and employment applications
  9. Handles internal and external advertising and recruitment
  10. Conducts and makes recommendations on employment interviews.
  11. Responds to employment inquiries.
  12. Extends and confirms offers of employment.
  13. Represents the company at job fairs.
  14. Maintains relationships with CBO's and recruiting sources.
  15. Prepares legally required and special reports relevant to the employment function.
  16. Partners with management to identify staffing needs based on business requirements.
  17. Identifies employment related marketing programs.
  18. Interviews applicants for technical and professional job vacancies, utilizing appropriate technical background or knowledge.

Summary of Requirements 
  • Minimum of three to five years of related recruiting experience
  • Comprehensive technical and functional knowledge of state and federal employment labor laws.
  • Interviewing and recruiting experience.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing computer applications (Word, Excel, and HRIS programs preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly confidential, fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources, a related field, or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to independently handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Interacts with internal and external peers and/or managers to exchange semi-complex information related to assigned activities.
  • Supports attainment of some short- and mid-term objectives of assigned unit/team/projects.
