Designation: Senior Specialist / Technical Specialist | Skill: SQL Database Administrator – L2 | Work Location: Noida, Chennai | Experience: 4 – 6 years | Qualification: Any Graduate with MS SQL DB Certifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience in SQL Server Database Administration
- Extensive work experience in Production systems
- Ability to install and configure MS SQL Server 2005/2008
- Performance monitoring experience (SQL profiler, Performance dashboard, Perfmon, Spotlight, etc)
- Experience in performance tuning existing code with developers
- Skills to index tuning, database fragmentation and compression
- Ability to apply patches and hot fix
- Knowledge of database mirroring (build, roll, maintain and troubleshoot)
- Experience in Server monitoring (MOM, Tivoli, etc)
- Knowledge of Data modeling
- Experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), DTS
- Experience in operational incident and project case
- Experience in SQL Server 2008
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work in a 24x7 work environment
