Job description
Requirements analysis and detailed design of Electric Drives Control Unit
Responsible for design and development of electric machine drive and power electronics control algorithms including:
- Electric machine drive torque control, current regulation, and PWM methods
- Electric machine drive algorithm and software development and specification development
- Electric machine drive control system development in Matlab/Simulink and Validation in MIL / SIL / HIL testing
- Support control algorithm and calibration development during vehicle testing
Desired Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in Control of Electric Drive systems including motor control algorithms (V/Hz, Vector Control, Direct Torque Control, etc )
- Good understanding of Classical Control systems, power electronics, electric machines, power systems.
- Control Software development & testing using MATLAB Simulink TargetLink. With a good knowhow of Model Based Development & Verification processes
- Knowledge of Hybrid / Pure Electric Vehicle architecture with automotive/locomotive domain experience
